Your Signature is More Powerful Than What You Think

I found this over at Gay Persons of Color.

Signature from 2007 won a Gold Lions Prize in Cannes and illustrates how signing petitions can provide real help to victims of torture, abuse, arbitrary imprisonment, and other human rights violations. Your signature can literally save lives.

While viewing the video I could feel the many lives that my signature had saved. The endless amount of times that I have penned my john hancock to a petition (alot!) And, if you’ve ever signed a petition say to stop an execution or even calling a cease fire to the Iraq War as you’re viewing this – you’ll understand exactly what I am speaking of.

I plainly see why this took home prizes and awards. Powerful but simple it was awesome and beautiful! Take a look, please.

Visit Amnesty International and sign a (or few) petitions today!
