Michelle Obama will cohost The View on June 18th

Just in case you haven’t heard Mrs. Michelle Obama will sit at the round table with the Whoopi Goldberg, Sherri Shepherd, Joy Behar, Barbara Walters and Elisabeth Hasselbeck.

I remember the day when Cindy McCain sat in with the ladies.  Everyone was really dressed and pressed not a wrinkle in sight. It reminded me of the times when your parents said, ‘We’ve got company coming, go take that off.”  It meant put your best clothes on.

Hasselbeck the most judgmental, holier than thou, holds most to a standard of impossible and the word forgiveness is only found in the dictionary, because it doesn’t appear to be a part of her repertoire.   And, before anyone can finish a complete sentence she’s on you like a pint size attack dog.  Barely able to contain herself – waiting to lash out and prove you wrong.

I don’t believe Elisabeth ever hears your complete thought though for she is too busy inside her head preparing her spiel to rip you a part. You say, tomato – I say, tomatoe – Hasselbeck is one of those types. Yet, the day Cindy McCain showed up she was glowing as if with child.

I have no love for Hasselbeck and when Senator Obama made an appearance, ‘Oh she was ready for him.’ Elisabeth thought she was a veteran journalist, possibly a foreign correspondent – “I’ll get him.” I think Barack found her rather amusing to be truthful. Sorta kinda in a way you pet a little puppy dog.

That was a mouthful for the only thing I really wanted to say, “If that little huzzy Elisabeth Hasselbeck disrespects Mrs. Michelle Obama in anyway she’s going to live to regret the day I was born.  And, I know that I am not the only one feeling this way.

I’m sure Walters and Bill Geddy have forewarned her.  Geddy has to answer those e-mails and Barbara is worried about her 11 years of The View going straight out the door – from boycott.  So this will be interesting to see, just how little Miss Muffet sitting on her throne will act – cordial – polite or the irritating little gnat that she’s famous for.

Bill O’Reilly Meltdown Resurfaces [Shouting Heads] The Angry White Man

Bill O’Reilly’s Complete Meltdown! (just click me and watch!)

The angry White man aka Racial Arsonist!

Yet, this dumb snot looking donkey fart has the nerve to say, “That African Americans are purely voting for Senator Barack Obama because HE is BLACK – WE ARE BLACK.” Just take a look at this damn Fool – if you dare?

Sorry I couldn’t download/upload the video to my blog, but “This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by CBS Broadcasting, Inc.” I know it’s a copyright claim by CBS Broadcasting Inc. Who doesn’t want to be reminded that they let an ignorant and now racist known fool, such as this on their airways. I tell ya I just love it.

But, this one is for you Sojourner’s Place, Speaker of all Truth, Who Let’s It be Known. Yet, we have to Thank our sister Honjii’s Harangues who doesn’t really care, cause shes just like you — tells it just like it is.

Thank you Bill O’Reilly for all that you do!

And, don’t waste your time leaving comments on how many years ago this occurred. Not when people are judging Senator Obama on who his friends were in his early years of college. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. And, if your mother didn’t teach you this lesson or story…believe me I will.

Bill O’Reilly is nothing but a ‘Racial Arsonist’ a piece of dog poop!

Liberty Of Conscience In Defense of America’s Tradition Of Religious Equality

Martha Nussbaum and I agree whole heartily on this “People who don’t want a lot of religious observance in public life are not our enemies, are not mocking us, or denigrating us, but they are worried about something that is a real issue.  Namely how can we be a Nation of Equals?”

“Martha Nussbaum, the Ernst Freund Distinguished Service Professor of Law and Ethics at University of Chicago, about church and state, and her newest book, LIBERTY OF CONSCIENCE: IN DEFENSE OF AMERICA’S TRADITION OF RELIGIOUS EQUALITY”.

Martha is a leading philosopher I wonder if that makes me one, too?  Seeing as this is her quote and I agree with her.  Plus, she feels that our country should not not be defined by one religious belief.  Haven’t I said this all along?  Yet, she and I part ways when it comes to this — she is of the belief that no one person truly believes there should be an absolute separation of church and state.  But, I do.

It’s really very simple an I’ll explain –

It’s this little thing called the First Amendment (read it).  You won’t see it as I and the next man won’t see it like you.  It’s like the telephone game.  By the time it gets to the very last person the message has been so misconstrued, bent and twisted right out of shape.  Everyone has thrown in their own nuts and screws.  The nuts and bolts of how they deciphered the message that was told to them.  It’s the same exact thing when it comes to the reading of the First Amendment.

Real quickly, last example.  I read a Bible scripture and come away with my interpretation.  You’ll read the very same one – Viola!  You walk away with a different meaning of interpretation.  Therefore, until ‘We’ speak a universal language of religion faith belief – then yes I believe in absolute separation of church and state.

Now I’m not sure how far off the mark me and Dear Martha are on this point that she made, “If you look into the religions they all have this deep idea of human dignity,” (and it basically translates through our conscience).  That’s interesting.  My introduction to religion (Christianity) was that I was only a wretch, you me and the rest of us, forever & for always.  There’s no human dignity in that.

Martha was once a Christian, she’s now Jewish.  Her ancestors came over on the Mayflower, whereby she explains they stole the Indians land.  Why?  They felt their Christianity gave them their right to have it – (lovely).  Religion – Human Dignity – Conscience – Translates – To What?

I found Martha Nussbaum a very likable person in the short 30 minutes of her interview with Bill Moyers.  She said some most profound things that I won’t forget, that people who stand up and holler God Bless America makes them no more protected by God or (patriotic) than the next man.  I tossed patriotic in.  This includes if you wear a flag lapel pin, too.  Which by the way John McCain has not worn since he’s been running for president.  Yet, he throws fiery darts at Senator Barack Obama, just like Hillary Clinton – throwing darts – not a lapel pin in sight!  Folks are ignorant.  And you think we’re going to get a universal language of religion for a public square and format – dream on.

And, this was really deep to me,

“The imprisonment of the soul and the rape of the soul,” is when you try to force someone to believe in a religion not of their choice.”

Our founding fathers declared, that this was not a christian nation.

And, even if they had no one can tell you what faith or religion to embrace practice nor believe in.

You can read the full transcript or watch the interview at Moyers/Nussbaum and come out with your own interpretation and meaning of everything that was said.

Reverend Jeremiah Wright to be interviewed by Bill Moyers

Jeremiah Wright to be interviewed by Bill Moyers

In what will be his first interview since snippets of his preaching became a central issue in the U.S. presidential campaign, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. will speak publicly to veteran journalist and fellow UCC member Bill Moyers.

The interview will be broadcast on Friday evening, April 25, on Bill Moyers Journal, a PBS news series that airs nationally. Check local listings at www.pbs.org/moyers.

Wright retired in March after 36 years as senior pastor of the 8,000-member Trinity UCC in Chicago, where U.S. Sen. Barack Obama has been a member for more than 20 years. Trinity UCC is the largest congregation among the UCC’s 5,700 churches.

Following his appearance on Bill Moyers Journal, Wright is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at the NAACP Detroit Branch on Sunday, April 27. He is also slated to speak on Monday, April 28, to a breakfast gathering at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.

  blog it

Yet, I’ve got a strong feeling that no matter what Reverend Jeremiah Wright says, that it won’t be enough to sway or change the minds of those who hate him.  Spewing hate in the very name of whom they profess their love for and the message that he represents – God.

I can’t help but wonder, (I don’t give it to much thought) because trying to figure out the mindset of the religious or the Christians would probably send me into a tailspin.  Yet, since Rev. Wright’s greatest hits was first aired provoking God’s people and our patriots into a total outrage do you think they hate God, as much as they hate him?  I do wonder sometimes.

They are angry over his use of the words ‘God Damn America’.  However I question rather of any these people have read the book of Revelations?  And, if they have – okay do you believe it?

It’s certainly not a book where God is saying, ‘I will soon come to fix you a cup of tea with honey and while I’m at it I will bake you – your favorite cake.  When he gets here for those who aren’t saved and from the Laws that were written none of us will be, it’s not humanly possible.  But he is going to damn this nation.  He is going to destroy this world.  You’ll even find yourself walking knee high in blood through the streets.  There are so many promises of how God is going to damn those (who choose to believe) in the final days.  The one I cited might be the kindest of them.

So do they hate God, as much as they hate Reverend Wright?  If anyone really has a problem with Reverend saying, God is going to damn America this nation or this world – I say take it straight to God.  It’s in his message that can be found in the book of Revelation.

And, last since I’ve never blogged or written about this I wonder what sets apart Reverend Wright and Senator Barack Obama in comparison to Pastors John Hagee, Rod Parsley and the senators that are endorsed by and follow them?

What is the difference between Reverend Jeremiah Wright and those who speak ill words of hatred towards him?  None!  If you believe in the Bible then believe all of it.  A sin -is a sin – is a sin… I’m glad I don’t follow organized religion.

Ohio Teacher Refuses To Remove The Bible From Classroom

John Freshwater an Ohio Science Teacher at Mt. Vernon Middle School has refused the school district’s order to remove the Bible from his classroom.  He clearly states this is not about religion.  It’s about his Freedom of Speech granted by the First Amendment right.  I personally don’t agree and I question his motives.

Yes, Mr. Freshwater has been carrying his Bible to class for over a decade nearly two now.  He voluntarily removed The Ten Commandments which he had posted outside the classroom door.  So I ask this isn’t about religion?  The educator has taught his students about “holes in evolution” and intelligent design, the theory that a supernatural power created complex forms of life” as reported by, Glass City Jungle.

John Freshwater’s spokesperson and friend is the well known religious activist Dave Daubenmire.  For those who may not be familiar with some of the causes or fights Daubernmire has taken on – he was a foot soldier an advocate for Terri Schiavo.  He was taken into custody for trying to deliver food and water to her.  Also, Daubenmire is the former London football coach that lead his team in prayer before practices team meetings and games.  With the help of the ACLU the school district settled out of court and $18,000 in court cost was paid by their insurance carrier.

However, the reason I question the authenticity of his refusal is that Mr. Freshwater shares that he doesn’t teach or read the Bible to his students.  Well if you’re not doing either of those things then what is the real problem?  Is he upset that he must keep it hidden – out of view?  I don’t know why that would even upset him?  I’m sure that Freshwater doesn’t have ‘Popular Mechanics Sports Illustrated or any other distracting reading materials sprawled over his desk.

Yet, it’s The Bible – what will almost on every occasion provoke an argument, a big debate.  My religion says this and you’ve got the wrong meaning of, that is not the right interpretation, it’s says this right here in scripture and verse.  It’s the one book that sadly presents the most chaosis.

Do you really believe if the school district ordered him to remove all such popular magazine materials, that this man would be putting up such a fight?  No he wouldn’t, it’s The Bible though and the reason I support separation of church and state.
