Zion man officially changes name to ‘In God We Trust’

Leave Him Alone, because He Prayed on It!

Steve Kreuscher is no more.

A Lake County judge granted permission to the Zion man Friday to officially change his name to “In God We Trust.” That’s “In God” as a first name and “We Trust” as a last name.

The 57-year-old artist and bus driver was ecstatic about the name change as he exited court Friday.

“I feel great. It’s just like, yes!” We Trust said.

The entire process before Judge David Hall took less than two minutes, but We Trust said he was quite nervous.

“I have been praying for this. I didn’t want anything to mess this up,” he said.

Existentialism attempts to describe our desire to make rational decisions despite existing in an irrational universe. Unfortunately, life might be without inherent meaning (existential atheists) or it might be without a meaning we can understand (existential theists). Either way, the human desires for logic and immortality are futile. We are forced to define our own meanings, knowing they might be temporary. In this existence…The Individual Defines Everything.

The Existential Primer.

Existentialism – A Definition

Existentialism in the broader sense is a 20th century philosophy that is centered upon the analysis of existence and of the way humans find themselves existing in the world. The notion is that humans exist first and then each individual spends a lifetime changing their essence or nature.

In simpler terms, existentialism is a philosophy concerned with finding self and the meaning of life through free will, choice, and personal responsibility. The belief is that people are searching to find out who and what they are throughout life as they make choices based on their experiences, beliefs, and outlook. And personal choices become unique without the necessity of an objective form of truth. An existentialist believes that a person should be forced to choose and be responsible without the help of laws, ethnic rules, or traditions.

Existentialism – What It Is and Isn’t
Existentialism takes into consideration the underlying concepts:

* Human free will
* Human nature is chosen through life choices
* A person is best when struggling against their individual nature, fighting for life
* Decisions are not without stress and consequences
* There are things that are not rational
* Personal responsibility and discipline is crucial
* Society is unnatural and its traditional religious and secular rules are arbitrary
* Worldly desire is futile

Existentialism is broadly defined in a variety of concepts and there can be no one answer as to what it is, yet it does not support any of the following:

* wealth, pleasure, or honor make the good life
* social values and structure control the individual
* accept what is and that is enough in life
* science can and will make everything better
* people are basically good but ruined by society or external forces
* “I want my way, now!” or “It is not my fault!” mentality

So The Pledge of Allegiance was altered?

I found this bit of historical information of great interest….

A Baptist Minister, by the name of Francis Bellamy wrote and authored the original Pledge back in 1892. Bellamy was also a Christian Socialist.  Christian socialism, “refers to those on the Christian left whose politics are both Christian and socialist and who see these two things as being interconnected.”

In 1892 Francis Bellamy was also a chairman of a committee of state superintendents of education in the National Education Association. As its chairman, he prepared the program for the public schools’ quadricentennial celebration for Columbus Day in 1892. He structured this public school program around a flag raising ceremony and a flag salute – his ‘Pledge of Allegiance.’

His original Pledge read as follows: ‘I pledge allegiance to my Flag and (to*) the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.’ He considered placing the word, ‘equality,’ in his Pledge, but knew that the state superintendents of education on his committee were against equality for women and African Americans. [ * ‘to’ added in October, 1892. ]

Also

In 1954, Congress after a campaign by the Knights of Columbus, added the words, ‘under God,’ to the Pledge. The Pledge was now both a patriotic oath and a public prayer.

So, Francis Bellamy intentionally left out the words, ‘In God We Trust’.  And, man came along and reedited too fit their own needs — that’s interesting — and it says, a lot — speaking loudly in volumes — as to what else has been rewritten to alter and change its meaning – as a form of mind control and/or religious belief?

Egypt’s parliament bans Female Genital Mutilation

This is really wonderful news…

And, marriage has been banned for both male and females under the age of 18!

If anyone chooses to still uphold these barbaric practices, there are penalties to be paid.

This is due to the ‘Child’s Rights Bill,’ female circumcision is only feasible in cases of ‘medical necessity’. I wonder what kinds of medical necessities would that be?

Cairo – The Egyptian parliament has passed new laws banning female circumcision and setting 18 as the minimum age for marriage for both genders, local media said on Sunday.

The new legislation, passed on Saturday, imposes a jail penalty of three months to two years or a fine of 190 to 940 dollars on any one practicing female circumcision, the official al-Ahram newspaper said.

Read: 1. Egypt’s parliament bans female circumcision, marriage under 18.
2. Court rules on female circumcision.

In Saudi Use God’s Name In Vain Get Your Head Cut Off

Now, that’s enough to really make you want to love and worship ‘God’….

Sabri Bogday, a Turk who is a barber has been in jail for just a little over a year. His only crime using God’s name in vain, while he argued with his neighbor. Doesn’t this give you a new spin on ‘Love Thy Neighbor’?

Bogday is hoping for an appeal on his sentence.

Unfortunately, this is the very court that recently sentenced a rape victim to 200 lashes and six months in prison, because she was in a car with a man that wasn’t her kin. And they both were attacked by knife point. This is the very court that will publicly behead someone for rape murder and heresy.

I can’t believe I’m reporting something so barbaric and cruel – but it’s all done in the name of the Most High – God.
